Rope magic continues to be popular, and Pete Biro has included some of his personal bits of business and routines with no more than a piece of rope. Packs small, plays big. Pete's comedy opening stunt (great for MCs or a lead in to any rope routine) has been getting the laughs for over 30 years. "No one that I know of has stolen this bit, as I seldom used it around magicians," Biro said. "It came from a gag my dad helped me with when he was in vaudeville in the 1920s." Biro's SHOT AND RESTORED rope is a comedy combination of a rope restoration and a bullet catch. The first trick Biro learned, 60 years ago, and long forgotten, with a shoelace tied to a spectator's buttonhole proves once again, what's old is new again. An original handling for starting the Professor's Nightmare, along with Roger Sylwester's great stretch handling is included with the "Almost NEMO" routine. To top it all off, Biro created a totally new and original Do-As-I-Do routine that contains something never before done with rope.
