This is a soft cover, stapled, 5 1/2 x 8 book of 98 pages which was printed in 1981. Due to the confusing name, that fact that it was not marketed well, and because the book is printed in a small type size, the book did not receive the attention or sales the material it contains deserved. There are six chapters: "Focus on Cards" (nine items), "Double Focus on Cards" (seven items), "No Focus at All" (five items), "Focus on Coins" (four items), "Focus on Comedy" (ten items), and "Focus on Dealer Effects" (six items). Only six items are in Routines Matter. Standouts include "Trevor's Swivel Force," "Trevor's Benson Bowl Routine," " Flog," and "Tamariz Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits."
