“Any pulse-checking, hard-core cardmen in the late 60’s knew about Jimmy Nuzzo. If they didn’t get to see him in person, they were familiar with the select ideas he published--ideas that probably seemed celestial at the time but were nevertheless interesting and enticing.”--From Jon Racherbaumer’s Prologue. Art and Ardor at the Card Table is a 200-page hardbound book with color dust jacket. Over 200 photographs, 19 new Jimmy Nuzzo techniques, and updated reprints of the highly collected Nuzzo Marlo manuscripts published in 1982: 21st Century Card Magic; Unforgettable Wild Card and Plus Package. Additionally, Nuzzo's tightly held work on the Hung Card--his creation--is tipped, alongside his lightning-fast card to pocket routine. Dr. James (Jimmy) Nuzzo is a Podiatric Surgeon in the Chicago Suburban area. He is an expert in sleight of hand. He has performed for corporate events, medical conferences and private parties of famous actors. He studied sleight of hand with Edward Marlo and published with Marlo three manuscripts included in this book. Jon Racherbaumer (edtior) is a world famous magic wordsmith, publisher and lecturer who has written many of the most influential magic books in the last 30 years. Edward Marlo (1913--1991) was Jimmy’s inspirational teacher and mentor. His brilliance in card magic can be found is his prolific writings including the Revolutionary Card Technique, MINT, Riffle Shuffle Systems, and the Marlo Magazines. Marlo was a legend known closely by only a select few students. Jimmy was one of those fortunate few.
