After producing the billiard balls, the performer states that it is just as easy to vanish them, and so that everyone will be able to see how the balls vanish, he will do it by degrees. Taking a billiard ball, he rubs it between his hands until it is seen to have diminished to half-size. Rubbing it again, it is seen to be one-quarter the size of the original, or about the size of a marble. Once more it is diminished to about the size of a large pea. Rubbing this again, he opens his hands and the ball is seen to have vanished entirely. A very novel and surprising climax to the billiard ball or the effect can stand on its own.
