The original idea for Aurora Playing Cards came in 2015 when Alessandro decided to design a deck of cards with the help of a friend. The curious thing is that he immediately knew he had a very specific idea - he wanted to have a representation of a wing on the back of each card. This was a very important symbol because, from a young age, his greatest fantasy was to learn how to fly. He wanted to be able to stand out at any time, flying in the sky and gain a unique and special vision of the world. This would thereby distinguish himself from the crowd. The name Aurora is actually derived from the polar aurora, an optical phenomenon of the earth's atmosphere. It is characterized mainly by bright bands of different shapes and colors changing in time and space, almost like the rainbow after the rain. In short, a sort of birth or rebirth. The cards were designed by Alessandro and Antony Carvelli, creator and designer of Plexus, and printed by the USPCC. All 56 cards in the deck are CUSTOM - that is, they are completely different from the cards of any other existing deck. The Jacks wear caps bearing the word, "Alex." More surprises can be discovered as well. You'll love using Aurora Playing Cards!
