This is the effect that the Henry Evans used as opener on his FISM winner routine in Portugal. The magician shows 2 bicycle decks, one on each hand. A spectator selects one (i.e. the red one) and on a second the card case vanishes leaving the cards on the hand only. The magician takes out the empty deck from his pocket. Now the magician spreads the red deck over the table and visually it changes to blue! The magician opens the blue box and inside there is the red deck. 100% strong magic, easy to do.
