A fascinating book about magic and the many odd places it can be found, with excerpts from books and magazines now practically unobtainable. The material was originally gathered for publication in a private, limited series: "Midget Magician." Only 50 copies of each issue were printed, many of which have now entirely disappeared. Bert Pratt, writing as "Ptinos," delved deeply into the old book marts of London, into libraries, and into magazine files to find magic and magical references. The resulting reading is charming, unusual and unique. It can be found nowhere else. A 52 page printed book Browsing Around Magic was created in a limited edition to signal the 1972 meeting of the Magic Collectors, where Bert Pratt was guest of honor.
