The magician shows a solid iron 5-inch nail, almost a 1/4 of-an-inch thick and suggests to the audience that with their help, his mental powers will be able to bend it. To do so, he places the nail in a rubber tube. He looks to the audience and slowly the nail starts to bend, ending up at an almost 45 degree angle, and then returns back to its normal state. After that he takes the nail from the rubber tube, and finally everything can be handed out for examination.
