This is the latest DVD from Big Bob Coleman and it has it all! The Best of Big Bob compiles three of Bob Coleman's videos onto one DVD, and the videos range from a beginning skill level to intermediate and then on to advanced twisting. This is a very effective way to guide any basic balloon twister along the path to being a more advanced twister, especially since Bob goes slow enough that you can follow along but not so slow that he loses your attention. Making a beginner video that is not boring for twisters of all skill levels can be a difficult task and he handled it well. Additionally, the way that the DVD is set up allows you to start anywhere you like so that you can skip over parts or pick up where you left off at any time. It goes without saying that an entertaining balloon video collection will have a few jokes here and there to add to the entertainment value, and Bob's is no exception. The variety of things that he demonstrates how to make is impressive as well. He has some simpler creations that are quite different from the ones that you see most often, such as his design for a pig, and his ET in the UFO is a great use for 160s that not many people would have thought of. He even included a bit of balloon magic when he "demonstrated" how to blow up a balloon from the middle and the end. While the picture quality is a little scratchy, it's tolerable and the content completely understandable. This DVD offers something for everyone who watches it, so basically if you've never twisted a balloon before this is the DVD you need. Or if you're a pro and you're looking for a different approach to some common creations or you need a brush-up on your skills, this is the DVD for you, too. Included are the tips on working in restaurants and fairs and fests that are worth the price of the DVD.
