The magician produces a number of handkerchiefs from a tube which has previously been shown empty. This is a wonderful effect which can be done completely surrounded! Perform on stage or close up. There are other effects which can be done with the phantom tube such as the production of ribbons or streamers. Both ends of the tube can be covered with tissue paper, and have a flashlight shine through it a moment before the production of the silks. There's nothing to see-but you instantly produce almost anything that can fit inside. A great trick for a mere pittance.
