This is one of the most effective and startling illusions we have ever built. In the presentation, a cabinet is lowered from the flys and set on an Oriental tabouret. An assistant enters the cabinet, its curtains are lowered and, immediately, the cabinet is hoisted up into the air so that it hangs suspended in the center of the stage. The magician notices a handkerchief that the assistant dropped as she entered the cabinet. He raises a portion of the curtain, disclosing the assistant as he hands the handkerchief to her. A gun is fired...curtains on all sides of the cabinet fall away...leaving only the skeleton framework of the cabinet. The girl has vanished! The girl may make her reappearance from the front of the theatre. If there should not be facilities for flying the cabinet, it can remain on the tabouret during the entire presentation. The outfit is a beauty. Lightweight in construction and self-contained. It can be done surrounded. The illusion breaks down for packing.
