The magician shows a small brass cylinder that has an upper and lower container that screw together. He also shows 5 different color brass discs, each having a hole through the center. A brass rod, attached by one end to a rope, is also passed out for examination. The magician asks a spectator to mentally choose and memorize a colored disc. The spectator shuffles the discs. Then the discs are placed in the lower half of the cylinder. The top is screwed on to enclose all of the discs. The container also has two holes, one on each end. The rod is threaded through the cylinder and both ends of the rope are held by the spectator. When the magician opens the cylinder, the chosen color falls out and the rest remain attached to the rope! At this point the trick is 100% examinable. This is a new conception in a close-up trick combined with mental effect and penetration effect. A very visual trick that can be repeated at any time. All props are fully examinable!
