Two clear drinking glasses, a playing card, and two half dollars are individually shown. The card is placed on the mouth of one of the glasses and the second glass is set on the card. The two halves are dropped into the upper glass. Yes, the spectators actually see the two coins enter the top glass. When they hit the bottom, one coin melts away, penetrating through the bottom of the glass and the card. It is seen and heard as it drops into the lower glass.
