A golden key is held at the fingertips. The "teeth" (bit) are slowly moved around the shaft of the key in a complete circle. This looks wild. Then, just as mysteriously, the bit is slid down the shaft of the key. The bit is then moved all the way to the head of the key. The key is then handed out for examination with the bit affixed in the wrong place--at the base of the shaft of the key. Virtually no sleight of hand is involved in the performance of this trick.
