The magician displays two playing cards and a square of black plastic. The cards have a hole punched through them at their corners. The magician also introduces a brass paper fastener. Sandwiching the square between the cards, they are joined together with the fastener. Amazingly, the square is then visibly and suddenly removed from its locked position between the two cards! No sleights and only one square and two cards used. The spectator can handle the square just before it penetrates the fastener. Easily learned, instantly resets and is perfect for walk around performers!
