The magician writes down a prediction, then removes a deck of cards from his pocket and asks a spectator to choose a card. The spectator selects a card and hides it inside her pocket. The magician then explains that he will determine the name of the card by actually traveling into the future and to prove it he asks the spectator to remove her watch. The magician takes the watch, only holding it by the very end of the strap, never touching the actual watch itself and has the spectator note the current time. He then places the watch on top of the card case. The magician then apparently travels a few hours into the future along with the spectator, and afterwards his prediction is found to be a perfect match with her chosen card! To conclude the spectator picks up her watch herself and finds that it is amazingly now a few hours ahead in time! The magician does not touch the watch itself nor does he need to do any sleights whatsoever. Uses a spectators watch that remains in full view and is totally self contained.
