Over the years Norm Nielsen has perfected the vanishing bottles. His desire to provide only the best quality magic to the world of illusion is more than apparent to anyone possessing one of his Vanishing Bottles. Even close up, these bottles look so much like real glass that you have to touch them to prove to yourself that they really can vanish in a paper bag! When necessary, the bottles are made transparent, such as the empty Coke and Ketchup bottles. And, when called for, they are opaque, like the full Ketchup, for example. The labels are specially printed on self-stick flexible vinyl to retard wear and tear. (If you have used older style bottles you can appreciate this attention to detail.) The vanishing bottle is probably one of the easiest and crowd-pleasing effects a magician can do. The basic effect is as follows: The performer shows a glass bottle, puts it in a paper bag, and after making a magical pass, crumples the bag. The bottle has vanished!
