The Hot Book is an excellent gag item for performers that want something unusual and offbeat in their act. Performer picks up a book and reads out from it. The contents are so "sizzling", that the book bursts into flames! The special book supplied has a few ordinary pages in front and a pair of shielded gimmicks at the back of the book, with the "fire" attachments. When required the firing mechanism can be removed from the collar holding this, and the flint changed.
