Each folder is shown empty on both sides. A piece of white paper the same size as a dollar bill is inserted in one of the folders. A magic pass, and the piece of paper changes to a real dollar bill! A blank is inserted in the second folder, and it too changes to a dollar bill! The same happens with the third folder. Now you have produced three dollars! As you prepare to place the blank piece of paper into the fourth folder, the corner is "accidentally" torn off! Oh, well. No big deal. However, when the fourth bill prints, its corner is missing!
