Here is one of the finest forcing decks available. You can actually spread the cards face up showing them to be mixed and different. You can then turn the deck face down and have the spectator touch the back of any card and it will always be the force card. The deck is made similar to a Svengali deck only with the rough and smooth principle allowing you to spread the cards. In this version, the force cards are not cut shorter than the regular cards in the deck. In recent years, this deck has emerged as the trick deck of choice for anyone wishing to perform a quick and easy Ambitious Card routine. The cards are ribbon spread or fanned and one card is chosen. You tell everyone that this particular card is known as the most "ambitious" card in the deck. To prove it, the selected card is fairly cut to middle. The top card is shown to be an indifferent card, however when you snap your fingers - the ambitious card rises to the top. The top card is now turned over to reveal that it is indeed, the chosen card. This effect grows more confounding each time it is repeated. Self-working, no sleight of hand required.
