The magician ties a long rope between two microphone stands. He removes a pair of scissors from his coat and cuts the rope about 3ft from the end. He proceeds to tie a knot with the rope and waves his hand over the cut pieces. The knot now slides to the middle of the rope where the magician unties the rope and shows that he has not only moved the knot but has also moved the cut ends to the center. He ties the knot again and then proceeds to move it farther down the rope where he unties it again and once again shows two cut ends. As a finale, he places the two cut ends into his hand and massages the rope and when he removes his hand from the rope. The rope is shown to be tied again.
