You show the blade's sharpness by cutting a piece of newspaper and place five blades, one after the other in your mouth. You then show your mouth empty, and place a piece of string in your mouth. You then pull the string out, and all the blades are REALLY tied to the string. The blades can be handed out for inspection both before and after the performance.
