A deck of cards is shuffled and the spectator selects a card, remembers it, and returns it to the deck. The deck is then shuffled by the spectator and placed on the table. Talking about how card tricks used to be performed before the millennium, the magician ribbon spreads the cards face down on the table. He tells the spectator to push any card straight out of the deck. Explaining that this was how tricks were performed prior to the millennium, and the card turns out to be the wrong card. The magician now explains that sine entering the new millennium there is a new way to discover the identity of a selected card. The spectator is given a special pair of glasses to put on. He then tells the spectator to look up at the ceiling or at the wall in front of him and see if he sees the image of his card. When the spectator does so, he does not see the image of his card, so is told to try again and he will see a red dot. He does so and he also sees the image of his selected card.
