Here's another effect possible with Automatic Kings: A spectator freely selects a card, looks at it and places it face-down on the table. The performer picks the card up and clearly pushes it into the center of the deck. He holds the deck up and a card begins to slowly rise from it. The spectator is asked to name his card. The risen card is turned around to show that it is indeed the chosen card! Automatic Kings require no moves whatsoever and can be immediately repeated with this new, thin, undetectable method.
