The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! "Inject" a spectator with a new, powerful Truth Serum. No matter what, your volunteer will now have to tell the truth! To test the effectiveness of the serum, bring out a deck of cards. Have the spectator select one card and show it to the audience. She then returns the card to the deck and the deck is shuffled. Begin to peel off one card after another and ask the volunteer to tell you when her selected card appears. Is she lying or telling the truth--you have no way of knowing! Thats where the test comes in! Remove the card named by the spectator and place it face up between her hands. Administer the "oath" in which your volunteer swears to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, now turn the card over. There, printed on the back of the card in big letters is "You Are Lying!" Also written is the name of the actual selected card! Truth Serum is a very commercial, very funny card routine. Comes complete with specially made fake hypodermic needle to administer the serum (perfectly safe) and special Bicycle poker-size deck. Very easy to perform.
