For years magicians have put coins in bottles and even beer caps into bottles. But with the advent of the ubiquitous “Water Bottle” the desire to put a bottle cap into one of these has grown. There have been a couple of ways to do this, involving the magician’s own prepared bottle, but it took the combined thinking and technical skills of Joe Porper and Pete Biro to come up with the “Ultimate” version...The Bottle Cap in ANY bottle. The oldest version, the Coin in Bottle, was made possible with the creation of the classic Folding Coin. This was followed by the Folding Key, and later by a clever version with a metal beer cap that was bent, put into a bottle, then was UN-bent to complete the illusion. What we wanted was the following: The bottle had to be ordinary, and without preparation. The effect had to appear to be totally impromptu, something that could be done as if it was an afterthought. At the same time the level of skill had to be within the reach of anyone that was into magic. Joe Porper has produced the trick that answers all of the mentioned goals.
