This is a remake of Steve Dusheck’s excellent effect, Wunderbar, which became a classic of the close-up levitation craze in the late 1970's. Wonder Bar retains the high impact effect of the original trick. A small (apparently) metal rod is seen inside a test tube, and it begins to bounce and move inside the tube, finally knocking out the cork, and floating in mid-air. You will not do this one five minutes after you read the instructions, but if you are willing to practice some magic to get a real show-stopper, Wonder Bar could be a great addition to your close-up repertoire.
