This looks just like a blotter with a tray stand, of the kind they used years ago when they wrote with feather quills dipped in liquid ink in a glass inkwell. This one was used by a clever counterfeiter in ancient times, and some of the printing ink has soaked into the blotter, permitting you to print a bill or two! The apparatus supplied resembles an antique collector's item, with a hand crafted ornamental blotter in lacquered hard wood, and an inlaid wood holder or tray lined with velvet. In effect, you place a blank piece of paper in the tray, and "stamp" it with the blotter, rocking it from end to end. When the blotter is lifted away the paper has been "stamped" into a real currency bill. And you can hand every thing--the blotter, bill and tray for examination. We supply you some play bills with matching blank paper pieces to experiment with, but you should use real money with appropriate size blank paper for actual performance.
