This can well be classed among the miracles--for the performer rightly divines a card THOUGHT OF by a spectator! A pack of cards is introduced and dropped on the table. A slip of paper and a pencil are handed to a spectator and he is asked to merely think of a card. He is then requested to write the name of the card on the slip of paper, fold same and lay it on the table. Spectator is asked to concentrate on the card and as a result the magician picks out the correct card! Remember--at no time has the performer palmed anything. He starts and finishes with empty hands. Every move is slow and deliberate. So subtle is the ruse that any spectator will be convinced that you actually have read his mind!
