A magician has a prediction written down on a piece of paper in clear view throughout the entire trick. A deck of cards is shown, all the faces appear to be different and the backs are the same. A spectator is asked to think of a time of day before that has been significant for them (example 3:00) and witht he magician's back turned, the spectator is to deal him/herself the same number of cards as the hour (example, 3 cards) and keep the cards hidden from the magician. When the magician turns back around, he can read the person's mind and tell them exactly how many cards they are holding by making a clock dial out of the cards, not only is he correct in naming the hour but at the given position (3:00) there is a card that matches the prediction! And as a finale all of the cards in the clock dial, spectator's hand, and deck are all blank!
